NIKI DAWSON is a singer-songwriter that gained recognition at 19 as a contestant on Season 1 of The Voice in 2011.
Following her appearance on The Voice, Niki has continued to expand her musical talents and career. Appearing on American Idol (Season XV), being featured on MTV's pilot show, 'Copycat', to collaborating with brands like the industry standard audio software, Auto-TuneĀ®.
She has released several singles, including "Glitter" (2018), "Lonely Wolf" (2020), "Feelings (Live)" (2021), "Talking" (2022), and "Smiles" (2024). She has been collaboratively creative directing/producing with trailblazing cinematographers to her music. And continues developing an indie unisex clothing line, that reflects alternative styles and designs.
Following her television appearances, Niki faced significant health challenges, including a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis and a life-threatening reaction to medication called Stevens-Johnson Syndrome. Despite these obstacles, she continues to create music, drawing from her experiences to produce raw and emotive work influenced by Alternative R&B, Pop-Jazz, and Hip-hop.
